Ferraz Shawmut UL Class Power fuse reducer operates at a voltage rating of 250/600 VAC. It allows the use of lower rated fuses in existing equipment having clips with higher ampere ratings. Rejection-type reducers will allow only Class R fuses to fit Class R clips. It allows 100 Amps fuse to fit in 200 Amps clip, use of closer rated time-delay fuses can improve circuit protection.
