Ferraz Shawmut Rejection type class R fuse reducer operates at a voltage rating of 250 VAC. It allows the use of lower rated fuses in existing equipment having clips with higher ampere ratings. Rejection-type reducers will allow only Class R fuses to fit Class R clips. It allows 30 Amps fuse to fit in 100 Amps clip, use of closer rated time-delay fuses can improve circuit protection.
