Halo H7ICAT, 6" Housing IC Air-Tite 120V Line Voltage Incandescent

This 7 1/2" high, 6 1/2" opening Halo recessed housing is designed for air-tight, insulated ceiling applications. With integral thermal protection, it is suitable for direct contact with insulation, making it a versatile option for energy-efficient installations. The housing is ideal for use in 2x8 joist construction, featuring an adjustable socket bracket and a junction box that is listed for through-branch circuit wiring. It includes seven 1/2" knockout (KO) slots and four Romex KO slots with pry-out options, as well as strain relief. The plaster frame has a locking screw for the hanger bars, and it adjusts to fit various ceiling thicknesses. The pre-installed captive nailless bar hangers allow for easy positioning with a 24" joist span, and can be repositioned 90? without the need for tools. The hangers are compatible with T-bar spline ceilings and are rated for damp locations. It is UL, CSA, and UPC listed, and meets the State of Washington?s restricted air flow requirements. This product is IP rated for water resistance, adding durability and value to your lighting installation.
