It delivers 1250 watts of instant heat through its enclosed metal-sheathed element, offering immediate warmth with no waiting time. The permanently lubricated motor and built-in automatic overheat protection ensure reliable and safe operation. The heater is UL listed for safety and easily mounts to any standard 3 1/2" or 4" round or 4" octagonal ceiling electrical box. For optimal control, it is recommended to use Broan wall controls, such as the Model 86W Line Voltage Thermostat or Model 61W/61V 15 Minute Timer (sold separately). This ceiling heater is ideal for providing supplemental heat and should not replace the primary heat source in the home.
